Yes, after a mere 6 months of downtime, I am finally able to drive my Z again. I want to thank a couple of tt.net members who assisted me - Bill (ImTheDevil) and Eric (nissanzxman). Bill came down from Cincinnati (about 120 miles) 2 weekends ago and helped quite a lot, as the engine ended up in the engine bay and actually was first fired while he was here. Eric was also there, and is the official tranny/ under-car monkey, as he has become very adept at working on those things, particularly on my Z. Eric was also there to help me pull the engine out this time back in January, when we managed to pull it in 3.5 hours, which I thought was pretty good time for not having a lift. Thanks to both of you guys for the help, and also to Coz & Z1 for some of the parts needed to rebuild my block this winter/ spring.
Rule #1 - There's always a bastard!
JRH(KY): for some reason, when I hear the word 'tranny' I think of transvestite before I do transmission. don't ask me why boileralum: FAGMO! ----------------------------------------- Bill (ImTheDevil): blah blah blah me: Just because you are covered in gasoline right now, doesn't mean you are right! ----------------------------------------- JRH (KY): I'm also using up a weekend this month for Indy and a weekend next month for the USGP. Throw in our trip to PA and GF is getting tired of my car habit. Boy I'm going to miss her :-D
